Acro greens seems to be a hot housing society project nowadays as they are promoting much on Jang newspaper. I’ve visited it and wonder to see a very small housing society of only 2700 kanals (as per their officials). This society is in Bankers Avenue Co-operative Housing Society which is launched for the employees of Bank of Punjab and few blocks are named as Acro greens.

Most important thing is that they have only few plots left there, so they are increasing the price of the plots. They are increasing Rs. 10,000/- per Marla from 21st of February. Hopefully they will sell the remaining plots within a month. They have planned to give possession to bank employees within one and a half month and other people in two and half years. But those who pay 50% advance can have possession in three to four months.
I’m afraid that who will go there to construct house. It is 4.5 km away from DHA Phase-V. It is on Baidian Road which is not established yet and it is surrounded by different villages or town. It could be a good place for farm houses as many developers and builders have done this, but I don’t think that it would be suitable for Housing Societies. But as DHA spread itself, other Housing Societies are also moving forward with it. DHA case is little different because they create a whole environment and change the place according to standard of their society. Otherwise if you don’t provide all the facilities, then people will have to contact in their surroundings which won’t match with the style of living and create difficulties. I haven’t seen any successful Housing Society on Baidian Road, however plots sell quickly but it depends how many construct houses there and most importantly how many people move there to live.

Bank still has not given any possession to its clients still. So how can we get that. Don’t think about it. LDA and Bank of Punjab has still issue to approve the society. So very dangerous to purchase plot there bcoz picture is yet not clear.
