Bahria town Karachi a white scam of the century and greed of one man to rip off the poor people of Pakistan, Initially Bahria announced initial registration in September 2013 with a non refundable fee of Rs 500 and 2,200,000 people subscribe for it meaning Bahria obtained a total of Rs 100,000,000/- just by announcing the project, this figure does not include the deposit that was obtained as a part of registration process which suppose to be refundable if your name will not be selected in ballot process, as a process Bahria obtained billions Rs which mean practically the land was bought with people’s money.
Now the management of Bahria town thought about how to rip off people of Karachi more so they come up with a genius idea of transfer of registration forms which include a fees that need to be given to Bahria as an admin fee Rs 2000/-, now the property agents said if Bahria is making money why not we make money out of it as well so they are start buying/selling these registration forms at this point in time no one know where the project will be how many units are there in this project and whether there name will be selected in ballot at all.
So Bahria made Rs millions and they make certain that all the major newspapers in Pakistan advertise this transfer process in major newspapers who are paid millions Rs from Bahria, while all the political parties and people in power were bystander in this process as they do not think they are responsible for telling the stupid people of Karachi and Pakistan that Bahria is using your stupidity to make millions for the greed of one person.
Than as recently as 26th January, 2014 Bahria announced the location of the project and announced that the members who were originally register in September are allowed to register again and this time the registration fee is Rs 1000/- who are these people they are the original 2,200,000 people who were registered in September, they need to fill the form again, give copy of their NIC, copy of the original form that was filled in September and a token money.
It just raised some questions in my mind may be I am stupid but I think these questions need answering what is changed in two months is the NIC changed, do people looks different in two months or there address changed in this period, as far a majority of Pakistani concerned they do not change their house this quickly, let suppose they do move but how many of them moved rough estimate 10% or 20%, but why the rest of the people need to fill these forms again and pay additional non refundable fee of Rs 1000/- , say out of those original 2,200,000 if only half will subscribe this time than the Bahria will generate Rs 2200,000,000/- without doing anything apart of advertising and using the marketing strategy
To make sure newspapers and property pundits are saying good things about the project.
This is just a portion of the money they are generating so if you do your sums the land that they need to buy was paid for by you and other common Pakistani poor people who are just in a hope that they will have a home one day was defrauded out of pocket as only 600,000 (max) people will get the benefit of having some sort of assets at the end of this project but they need to pay for it for the next 5 or 4 years depending on what type of property they choose.
So this greedy person who think he will not die and there is no judgment day laughing his head off and made billions without doing anything just selling a dream to people of Pakistan, it is the ordinary people of Pakistan who are paying for his wealth.
Now let’s talk about the token money that needs to be paid at the time of registration that started on the 26th January, 2014 say for argument sake only 1,000,000 fill the form this time the minimum token money if we say is Rs 100,000/- although it is way above this figure than the total money that will be generated would be Rs 100,000,000,000/- and if your name is not selected than your money will be return to you within three months but you need to fill a refund form and I can bet there will be some sort of fee that Bahria will be charging for these forms as well, if Bahria put this amount of money in a three month fixed interest account at a rate of 5% interest the amount of interest Bahria can generate is £1,250,000,000/- which can easily cover the cost of building the projects they announced.
People would say the owner of Bahria is Muslim he will never do that but when he can snatched land from CDA and Army land what will stop him from doing this, certainly not the anger of Allah or fear of judgement day.
This report was made just taking the basic figures and considering the minimum amounts although there are lots of other things happening behind the scene which if considered than you will know that you as the people of Pakistan were conned and abused, you are making a rich man richer without thinking about it. But I do not blame him he is just using your stupidness and division among you.
If you want you can make your own local groups and when you unite together you can contribute enough money to make a house for one of your Muslim brother and once he get a house he should contribute his share of money so his brother will get a house.

Chairman Bahria Town is not my relative but I think he is doing much more for the peoples of Pakistan. His projects are unique. There is no fraud in his projects. Most of Poor Pakistanies became milioner by investing in these project. I think the person writing against Bahria Town Projects is only jealous. Merey Bhai RASHAK kr HASAD na kr. I agree ! how can one digest this thing that he is the one who had made that big town with modern facilities and he is not even able to manage the forms hassle and it is pre planed to make that fuss in the crowd giving that forms and then announce that those forms are avaliable on the website !!! WHAT Is THIS ????
sir i think on some points he is right we are making poor people poor and rich is going more many people make money and at the end those buy on the peak they are finshed but this is not bahria fault this is our own greed every one in business having ideas n malik riaz have great ideas i think he will deliver what he said
I am from the UK and am astonished at the stupidity of people in Pakistan. How can anyone be taken in by the antics of Bahria Town? It is, and always has been, a big fraud from the start. Bahria Town is a totally manipulated project so can never succeed in the long term, as opposed to being dictated by market forces i.e supply and demand. I have been here in Pakistan for a few months and am glad i have not invested in this country apart from DHA. I have properties in the UK and have been making excellent returns for the last 20 years. If anyone has money they should invest abroad; otherwise only DHA makes sence in Pakistan.
Dear Mr. Sagheer, We heard stories from our elders and they told us about a bird “HUMA” which sat on the head of a person and he got much more. I think Malik Riaz providing all of us a chance of business by investing a very little amount i.e Rs.15000/- . Who knows credibility of BAHRIA TOWN, earned much more from 4th October, 2013 todate and still have chances. With a little investment a “HUMA” was always available in the schemes of BAHRIA TOWN so launched in the country. Thanks

I am agree with whatever statistics has been provided in this article. You know this is the way the intelligent people earns money. He is intelligent and using his mind. If people are fool then why he is accused. He is not begging people to invest or to pay him. He is just encashing his name and his hard work he did in past to bring his name in world top construction firm. If people who earn money after retirement in terms of their pension, they actually encash their hardwork in latter age. That is what Malik Riaz is doing, the current position has far long history. now he is getting the rewards of his excellent work. If anyone can deny of his awards and success stories – share your views. Every one is welcome and this is my personal opinion. This is a capitalist society, and every business in Pakistan runs on the concept of capitalism so why only Malik Riaz may be because we are not benefiting or may because we do not realize what others are doing . I think registration date should be extended and adjustment amount should be increased to 2.5 lac at least for open certificate and 7.5 Lac for Opal & Hushang Register members, to encourage the new investors. And the rumors about the project location must be addressed properly.

Bahria town says in paper ads that confirm booking is just fraud and don’t trust on these dealers. bahria will not responsible for any loss. But now here http://www.bahriadeals.com/booking-closed-bahria-town-karachi-now/ it says, confirm booking is ultimate best way and will be given confirm plots to those people who booked plots from those dealers? If that is the case then who is fraud? Is not bahria
